On November 3, 2018, the Celiac Disease Foundation’s Team Gluten-Free Turkey Trot 5k Fun Run/Walk in New York and Los Angeles drew over 350 people of all ages and raised over $90,000! The Turkey Trot participants showed their support for one common goal: to drive diagnosis, treatment, and a cure for the three million Americans affected by celiac disease.

Trotters in the third annual Celiac Disease Foundation Team Gluten-Free Turkey Trot 5k in Oyster Bay, NY did not let the rain slow them down as they were greeted by tables filled with gluten-free samples and a gorgeous beach view. Please join us in recognizing and congratulating the dedicated top fundraisers, Ariel Spiegelman, top fundraiser for the third consecutive year, Jaime Kornblau, and Gabbi Saft, and the top three NY runners, Christopher Dowd, Nicholas Aldorasi, and Lindsay Shine.

The inaugural Los Angeles event connected families in the gluten-free community and saw runners from age three through 89. We are proud and incredibly grateful to our top three fundraisers, Max Davila, Brooke Pierpoint, and Draya Ramer and congratulate the top three LA runners, Russell Landgraf, Masato Kobayashi, and Joseph Bianchini.

It is with admiration and gratitude that we acknowledge the Sponsors, who support our mission and help make this event possible.  Thank you to Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schrek, CAULIPOWER, Steiner’s Coffee Cake of New York, SkinnyPizza, FreeYumm, The Modern Loaf, Flax4Life, Allie’s GF Goodies, and Arbonne Independent Consultant Michelle Weir for sponsoring this year’s Turkey Trot.
