Today is Celiac Disease Awareness Day, chosen to honor the birthdate of Dr. Samuel Gee, the first researcher to recognize that the symptoms of celiac disease were related to diet. This day is your opportunity to follow in Dr. Gee’s footsteps by creating a Facebook fundraiser to share with your social network. With two million people still undiagnosed, there are two million reasons to raise awareness and funds this Celiac Disease Awareness Day.
