Save the date for the University of Chicago Celiac Disease Center’s Annual Celiac Education Day on Saturday, October 21, 2017. Celiac Disease Foundation (CDF) is proud to be a co-sponsor of this important event and host a Patient Advocacy Workshop during the program.

The program begins at 10:00 AM with a Q & A panel with University of Chicago celiac disease experts. CDF’s Patient Advocacy Workshop begins at 11:00 AM where participants will learn about the clinical and scientific research processes, as well as how to ask their own research questions, and how to serve on research study committees. The Patient Advocacy Program gives patients a voice in the celiac disease research process.

The Celiac Education Day will also offer a FREE celiac disease antibody screening for all attendees. Pre-registration is mandatory in order to be screened, and you must be on a gluten-containing diet.
